History
Grove Hill Farm was founded in 1974 and by 1975 it was focusing on Egyptian bloodlines. Several lines have been utilized but the foundation stock has been based on the Ansata/Babson cross. Quality and consistency are the decisive factors in breeding decisions. Why Egyptian Arabians? Because of their type, beauty, intelligence and intriguing history. All of the breeding stock is straight Egyptian, Blue List, Al Khamsa and Asil. Many of these horses are of the rare color black which makes them just a little more special and unique. Over the years Grove Hill Farm horses have sold to many countries on five continents. That adds an interesting twist to the business and makes the world seem that much smaller. Many longtime friendships have evolved from these sales which has been wonderful. After thirty years of breeding, raising and selling Egyptian Arabian horses the decision has been made to discontinue the breeding program and keep a handful of horses for personal reasons. |
